Dr Susan Isdale is originally from Tasmania but saw the light and came west, completing her training at King Edward Memorial Hospital. From pregnancy, natural and operative delivery to postnatal care, Dr Isdale’s personal focus is to embrace calmness in childbirth and inspire maternal confidence.
She is married to Rod and they have two girls in Primary School.
Susan’s life outside work often revolves around her daughters’ adventures – currently these involve rabbits, puppies, ballet, soccer and tennis. A keen crafter, her home is scattered with collections of interesting wool, beads, buttons and quilting materials.
She is also musically-minded, plays the piano and viola and dabbles with the cello and harp.
Susan's family are accustomed to momentarily rearranging birthday parties and outings when Labour Ward calls and she slips out to attend a delivery, (maybe yours!)
